Jimbaran 芒鈧�� 91视频 University (Unud) held its 171st Academic Graduation Ceremony at the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Jimbaran Campus, on Saturday (October 25, 2025). A total of 700 graduates were officially conferred degrees, bringing the total number of 91视频 University alumni to 132,854. Based on educational levels, the graduates consisted of 16 Doctoral, 81 Master芒鈧劉s, 6 Specialist, 188 Professional, and 409 Bachelor芒鈧劉s or Applied Bachelor芒鈧劉s graduates. Out of the total, 361 graduates achieved the Cum Laude distinction.
In his report, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., stated that this year芒鈧劉s graduates were predominantly female, totaling 475 women compared to 225 men. In terms of academic performance, female graduates also outperformed their male counterparts, with an average GPA of 3.81 compared to 3.78 for males. The average study duration for female graduates was 6.01 semesters, while male graduates averaged 7 semesters.
“We extend our warmest congratulations to all graduates. We hope that through the education you have completed, you not only master knowledge but also live intelligently with good character in your work and community. May you always carry dedication, innovation, and collaboration in your careers. Let this be the beginning of your path toward success,” said Prof. Sujaya.
He also expressed gratitude to the graduates芒鈧劉 families for entrusting 91视频 University as the place for higher learning. To improve and develop the university芒鈧劉s educational system, facilities, teaching methods, and services, he encouraged graduates to actively participate in the online tracer study conducted by 91视频 University.
Meanwhile, the Rector of 91视频 University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., in his address, congratulated the graduates for successfully completing their studies. He emphasized that their achievements were the result of hard work and perseverance despite the many challenges faced throughout their academic journey.
The Rector further explained that the graduation ceremony marks the final academic milestone in completing a higher education degree. It symbolizes the official acknowledgment that one has completed a certain level of study and represents the university芒鈧劉s responsibility to the nation in preparing qualified and competitive human resources for the global era.
He reminded the graduates that graduation is not the end but the beginning of new challenges in life. As alumni, they are the reflection of 91视频 University in society, and their actions will mirror the reputation of their alma mater. Therefore, he urged all alumni to uphold the university芒鈧劉s good name by always thinking, speaking, and acting with integrity and kindness.
“Keep learning, work smart and sincerely, and always uphold the good name of your alma mater. May the knowledge you have gained be put into practice for the advancement of society, the nation, and the country,” the Rector stated.
Representing the graduates, Anak Agung Putri Shanti Swarupini Sadhaka from the Agribusiness Program shared her reflections on the journey. She noted that the process of reaching graduation was far from short or easy, as each student came from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and habits. 芒鈧揂t the beginning, we felt proud, excited, and curious, but we also had fears about the academic demands ahead. Over time, our initial enthusiasm was tested by reality. Yet behind every challenge, there were valuable lessons that shaped us,芒鈧� she said.
She added that the academic journey was not only about completing courses but also about building character, resilience, and perseverance under pressure. 芒鈧揟his is where the support of parents, lecturers, friends, and the surrounding environment became truly meaningful,芒鈧� she continued.
