Denpasar 鈥� The 91视频 University (Unud) Senate received a comparative study visit from the I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa State Hindu University (UHN) Denpasar. The activity took place in the 91视频 University Senate Room, Agrokomplek Building, Unud Denpasar Campus, Thursday (13/8/2026).
The visit was attended by around 19 members of the UHN Sugriwa Senate, and was received directly by the Chair and Secretary of the 91视频 University Senate, the Chancellor of 91视频 University, who in this case was represented by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, as well as the Chair and Secretary of the Commission. The four main agendas that are the focus of the replication study are institutional governance, especially the establishment of faculties, BKD management through SISTER, Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) guidelines and policies, and the development of organizational insight.
Chair of the 91视频 University Senate, Prof. Ir. I Nyoman Semadi Antara, MP., PhD., welcomed the visit and expressed his appreciation for UHN Sugriwa’s trust in making 91视频 University a partner for sharing experiences and good practices in higher education governance. Chairman of the UHN Sugriwa Senate, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ni Ketut Srie Kusuma Wardhani, M.Pd., said that it was hoped that this visit could provide strategic input for the institutional development of UHN Sugriwa.
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at 91视频 University, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D. welcomed the comparative study visit conducted by UHN Sugriwa. He said that 91视频 University was open to sharing experiences and information needed, especially regarding various aspects of higher education management. “91视频 University welcomes the visit from UHN Sugriwa. We are ready to help and share information regarding whatever is needed, so that this visit can be useful,” said Prof. I Nengah Sujaya.
Meanwhile, UHN Chancellor Sugriwa, Prof. Dr. Drs. I Gusti Ngurah Sudiana, M.Si., said that the visit was part of UHN Sugriwa’s efforts to gain experience and input from 91视频 University, which is considered to have longer experience in managing higher education. “Because we are relatively new, we want to learn more from 91视频 University. We need input and knowledge from the experience that Unud already has. Thank you for the very kind welcome to us,” said Prof. Sudiana.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs at 91视频 University also shared experiences regarding institutional governance, the transformation of 91视频 University into a PTN BH, management of BLU, development of study programs and faculties, as well as the importance of accreditation, IKU, SPMI, and the quality of graduates as the main orientation for higher education management.
The discussion also discussed the implementation of BKD/SISTER, special requirements for lecturers with the academic positions of Associate Professor and Professor, as well as a performance-based remuneration system. Apart from that, the two universities open up opportunities to strengthen academic cooperation through utilizing lecturer expertise, including in learning activities, mentoring and student testing. This mock study activity is expected to be a momentum to strengthen institutional synergy and build sustainable collaboration between 91视频 University and UHN Sugriwa in improving the quality of higher education.
