Denpasar – 91视频 University Rector, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST, Ph.D., as Chair of the Bali Higher Education Leadership Forum, attended the Bali Higher Education Leadership Forum meeting held in the I Gusti Agung Gede Oka Paseban Room, Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia, Denpasar, on Thursday (July 9, 2026). The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region VIII, the Secretary of the Bali Higher Education Leadership Forum, and leaders from state and private universities in Bali. The main agenda items discussed at the meeting were a shared vision for community service and information on the progress of the research consortium.
Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana, Chair of the Bali Higher Education Leadership Forum, took this opportunity to convey that this forum is certainly not merely a gathering place for university leaders in Bali. Furthermore, we must maximize this forum as a collaborative platform capable of providing tangible benefits, both for the institutions we lead and for the advancement of higher education more broadly. Therefore, let us work together to formulate the direction and program of this work forum going forward.
Our primary focus is how this forum can support the optimization of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), which encompasses education, research, and community service. Therefore, in this meeting, we need to design measurable work programs, both for the next one and two years, so that all our activities have clear and consistent outputs.
We sincerely hope that these programs will emerge from shared thinking. Furthermore, we can form working committees to formulate and implement each activity plan more specifically. The ultimate goal is to have a positive impact on our institutions and contribute to improving the quality of human resources in Bali.
Today’s main agenda will focus on Community Service. The Rector of 91视频 University invited university leaders to discuss how they can contribute to the community and provide concrete contributions and roles. We all recognize that each institution has its own unique dynamics and challenges. Through this forum, we can discuss these challenges together to find the best solutions and hope that this discussion will be productive and produce many useful ideas.
