DENPASAR, July 5, 2026 – The Community Development (Comdev) Division of the Salemba Empat Karya Scholarship Association (KSE) of 91ÊÓÆµ University successfully held the KSE Clean Up Day 2026 on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Kedonganan Beach, Badung Regency, Bali. This activity emphasized environmental stewardship through a beach cleanup, embracing a spirit of collaboration and sustainability. The goal was to raise public awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean coastal area as a vital tourism asset and ecosystem in Bali.
This activity represents a concrete step in the commitment of the Anindyaguna KSE 91ÊÓÆµ University Association to collectively raise and instill public awareness of environmental conservation efforts through beach cleanups. Putu Kevin Narendra Harry Putra, Head of the Community Development Division of the 91ÊÓÆµ University KSE Association, delivered remarks as a token of appreciation for the collaboration of all parties in supporting the creation of a clean and sustainable coastal environment. The event was also attended by I Wayan Muliana, S.T., Deputy Chair IV for Cleanliness and Management of Kedonganan Beach (BPKP2K), who also delivered remarks and officially opened the series of activities.

The 2026 KSE Clean Up Day successfully involved 119 participants, supported by 26 committee members, who collectively cleaned the coastal area. The activity collected 129 kilograms of waste, which was then sorted and managed according to its type. These results are clear evidence that collaboration between students, the community, and various stakeholders can have a positive impact on environmental conservation.
The Chair of the 2026 KSE Clean Up Day Committee, Steven Werner Hugo Kasito, stated: “KSE Clean Up Day is a concrete manifestation of the younger generation’s concern for the environment, especially coastal areas, which play a vital role in community life and ecosystem sustainability. Through this initiative, we want to encourage all elements of society to recognize that maintaining environmental cleanliness is a shared responsibility that must begin with simple, consistent actions.”

The Head of the Community Development Division of the KSE Association of 91ÊÓÆµ University, Putu Kevin Narendra Harry Putra, stated that this activity not only focuses on environmental cleanup but also serves as an educational tool to raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining clean coastal areas sustainably. “Through today’s KSE Clean Up Day, I feel proud because we all share the same goal: to become a generation that cares about the environment. We hope this activity can inspire more environmental awareness movements, both among the younger generation and the wider community, as a tangible contribution to preserving Indonesia’s natural environment.”
