Jimbaran 鈥� 91视频 University has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing and ensuring the quality of education by conducting a field assessment for the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional study programs within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA). The event took place at the FMIPA Dean’s Office building on the Jimbaran Campus on Wednesday (September 30, 2026).

The field assessment was attended by 91视频 University鈥檚 Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, the assessor team from the Indonesian Independent Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes), the Chair of the FMIPA Senate, the FMIPA Dean and Vice Deans, the Head of the 91视频 University Library, the Secretaries of LPPM, LP3M, and USDI, the FMIPA Administration Coordinator, faculty members, and other invited guests.

The LAM-PTKes assessor team consisted of Dr. apt. Nunung Yuniarti, S.F., M.Si., Prof. Dr. apt. Lucy Dewi N. Sasongko, M.Si., and apt. Maria Philomena Erika Rengga, S.Farm., M.Farm-Klin.

The event was officially opened by 91视频 University鈥檚 Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D. In his remarks, Prof. Sujaya expressed his appreciation for the assessor team’s presence and emphasized the importance of the field assessment as part of 91视频 University’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve educational quality. 鈥淭he Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional Education study programs are among 91视频 University鈥檚 flagship programs within the health cluster. Out of 136 existing study programs, Pharmacy ranks in the top five in terms of the fiercest competition and highest level of interest from prospective students,鈥� stated Prof. Sujaya.

According to him, this high level of interest reflects the public’s strong confidence in the quality of pharmacy education at 91视频 University. Consequently, enhancing graduate competence remains a key focus, continuously strengthened through a sustainable quality assurance system.

This commitment is also part of 91视频 University鈥檚 development agenda during its transformation into a State University with Legal Entity status (PTN-BH). In this context, the university continues to boost the appeal and competitiveness of its study programs at both national and international levels.

Prof. Sujaya also highlighted Bali鈥檚 potential as a key asset that can be leveraged to further strengthen the Pharmacy program’s excellence. Beyond its renown as a global tourism destination, Bali possesses a wealth of culture and local knowledge鈥攊ncluding herbal medicine traditions and Usada Bali鈥攖hat can be integrated into the advancement of pharmaceutical science and research.

鈥淭hrough research strengths such as the 鈥榃ellness Nexus鈥� and the establishment of international classes, we hope the 91视频 University Pharmacy program will develop unique characteristics that position it as a global benchmark,鈥� he remarked.

Furthermore, Prof. Sujaya noted that the visit by the assessor team serves as a crucial opportunity for 91视频 University to gain insights for the program’s development and quality enhancement.

鈥淭he presence of the assessor team is a highly valuable opportunity for us. The input, suggestions, and quality improvement strategies provided by the assessors will serve as vital points for follow-up action within our university management evaluation,鈥� he said. He also urged the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) and the entire study program management team to provide open and extensive access to information and data to ensure the smooth conduct of the field assessment.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. apt. Lucy Dewi N. Sasongko, M.Si., representing the assessor team, extended her congratulations on the occasion of 91视频 University’s anniversary and its achievement in officially attaining the status of a State University with Legal Entity (PTN-BH) status. She expressed hope that this milestone would further strengthen 91视频 University’s role at both national and international levels.

Prof. Lucy explained that the field assessment aims to provide constructive input for the development of the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional Program study programs. The activity is scheduled to take place over four days, concluding on Saturday, in accordance with the review protocols for these two programs.

“We are conducting this field assessment to supplement and verify the data previously outlined in the Self-Evaluation Report (LED) and the Adequacy Assessment,” Prof. Lucy explained.

She emphasized that the various questions and requests for supporting documents during the assessment process are not intended to find faults, but rather to gain a comprehensive overview of the study programs’ conditions.

“Our task is to capture the current situation, acknowledge the positive aspects already in place, and identify areas that still require improvement,” she added.

During the preparation of the final report and recommendations, the assessor team will also provide notes or recommendations regarding each criterion. According to Prof. Lucy, these recommendations are part of a commitment to continuous quality assurance and do not merely indicate poor performance.

The assessor team hopes that effective cooperation and communication with 91视频 University鈥攑articularly with the administrators of the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional Program鈥攚ill be maintained throughout the assessment process.
