Denpasar 芒鈧�鈥� The Institute for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (LP3M) of 91视频 University organized a Training on the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at the Theater Room, 4th Floor, Faculty of Medicine Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, on Thursday (October 16, 2025).

The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, the Acting Head of LP3M, Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Study Program Quality Assurance Teams, Heads of Faculty and Postgraduate UP3Ms, prospective Internal Quality Audit (AMI) auditors, and other invited guests.

In her report, Chair of the Committee G.A.P. Candra Dharmayanti, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that this annual activity reflects 91视频 University芒鈧�鈩�s commitment to implementing quality assurance. The training aims not only to enhance participants芒鈧�鈩� understanding of data management but also to foster a quality culture. She emphasized that building a quality culture should go beyond documentation芒鈧�鈥漣t must include the actual implementation of quality assurance to achieve the university芒鈧�鈩�s established standards through proper planning, documentation, execution, evidence collection, monitoring, and management review.

She added that internal audits (AMI) have already been conducted, findings identified, and follow-up management review meetings held, all serving as evidence of an effective SPMI. This year芒鈧�鈩�s training also focuses on strengthening understanding in response to the new Ministerial Regulation No. 39 of 2025 and aligning 91视频芒鈧�鈩�s standards with the updated national standards.

Meanwhile, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. I Nengah Sujaya, in his opening remarks, reaffirmed 91视频 University芒鈧�鈩�s commitment to building a culture of quality and preparing for its transition to a Legal Entity State University (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Badan Hukum or PTN-BH). He underscored that changes in higher education policy and system dynamics require universities to continuously adapt, innovate, and ensure genuine quality implementation across all aspects of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi芒鈧�鈥漞ducation, research, and community service.

The Vice Rector further explained that the commitment toward PTN-BH status must be accompanied by the fulfillment of various quality standards and targets, including the improvement of study program accreditation. Currently, around 60 percent of 91视频芒鈧�鈩�s programs are accredited 芒鈧�艙Excellent,芒鈧�聺 while the national target for PTN-BH universities is 80 percent. Therefore, 91视频 University is preparing more than 30 study programs to undergo the Supplementary Conversion Instrument (ISK) process to strengthen accreditation positions and ensure compliance with current regulations.

Aligned with this institutional transformation, LP3M will evolve into a Quality Assurance Unit (SPM) with broader responsibilities. This transformation requires competent human resources, an adaptive quality information system, and stronger cross-faculty coordination. Emphasizing collaboration, the Vice Rector called on all members of the academic community to maintain consistency in implementing internal quality assurance as a solid foundation for external accreditation.

He also highlighted that quality, relevance, and attractiveness of study programs are the three key elements that every unit within the university must uphold and continuously develop. Quality improvement, he noted, is not merely an administrative requirement but a reflection of 91视频 University芒鈧�鈩�s commitment and integrity in producing excellent and competitive graduates who can meet societal and workforce needs.

With an integrated quality assurance system, 91视频 University is confident in its ability to pursue continuous improvement in education, research, and community service. This transformation is expected not only to strengthen the university芒鈧�鈩�s position within Indonesia芒鈧�鈩�s higher education landscape but also to establish it as a resilient, adaptive, and globally competitive institution.
