BANYUMAS 鈥 Three teams from 91视频 University鈥檚 (Unud) Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) won awards at the national-level Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (KMI) Expo XVII in Banyumas on Thursday (October 1, 2026). Beyond merely competing with business concepts, the three Unud student teams presented innovations rooted in real-world societal issues and needs鈥攔anging from the preservation of Balinese culture and the enhancement of digital-based services to simplifying data processing and interpretation.
These achievements were secured by Team Smara, which won 3rd Runner-Up (Juara Harapan III) in the early-stage business category; Team KlinKlin, which won 2nd Runner-Up in the growth-stage business category; and Team Statisin, which won 2nd Place in the growth-stage business category. Collectively, these achievements demonstrate how student entrepreneurship development can be directed toward generating solutions that possess economic value while simultaneously delivering social and cultural benefits.

Team Smara addressed the issue of cultural preservation amidst the growth of the creative industry through their venture, “Smara: Traditional Bamboo Musical Instrument Souvenirs as Balinese Cultural Preservation Products.” This innovation transforms traditional bamboo musical instruments into souvenir products that better align with market demands. Through this approach, Team Smara aims to position Bali’s cultural richness not merely as heritage to be preserved, but also as a source of creativity and economic opportunity. Team Smara is led by Ketut Sri Mulia Sugiani, a student from the Faculty of Law, with Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H., M.H., serving as the supervising lecturer. Their concept successfully earned the 3rd Runner-Up award in the early-stage business category. Meanwhile, the KlinKlin team addressed the public’s need for practical, safe, and efficient laundry services through “KlinKlin: A Safe, Precise, Fast, and Digitally Integrated Premium Laundry Pickup and Delivery Service.” The use of digital technology in this service aims to provide convenience for customers while enhancing operational efficiency.
The KlinKlin team was led by Ni Made Rita Mutiara Dewi, a student from the Faculty of Engineering, with Anak Agung Ngurah Hary Susila, S.TI., M.MT., serving as the supervising lecturer. The team successfully secured 2nd Runner-Up in the “Growing Business” category.

Separately, the Statisin team addressed the need for data processing that is easier, more reliable, and more understandable鈥攑articularly given the growing importance of data utilization in decision-making. Through “Statisin Indonesia: A Smart Digital Platform for Reliable Data Analysis with Automated Interpretation,” the team developed a digital platform that helps users perform data analysis and obtain interpretations with greater ease.
The Statisin team was led by Kelvin Ferell, a student from the Faculty of Economics and Business, with Dr. Ni Putu Sutramiani, S.Kom., M.T., serving as the supervising lecturer. This innovation won 2nd Place in the “Growing Business” category.
The achievements of these three 91视频 University P2MW teams at KMI Expo XVII 2026 demonstrate that student entrepreneurship can serve as a platform for delivering solutions to various societal challenges. The ideas developed were not merely focused on creating products and business opportunities; they also incorporated cultural values, technological applications, and solutions to practical community needs.
This aligns with 91视频 University鈥檚 commitment to fostering education that delivers tangible impact. By encouraging creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, students are empowered to develop their competencies while creating work that is both relevant and beneficial to society. 91视频 University extends its appreciation to Team Smara, Team KlinKlin, and Team Statisin for their achievements.
