Jimbaran 鈥� 91视频 University (Unud) is strengthening cross-cultural interaction and international networking by hosting the 91视频 International Sports Day 2026. Initiated by the Unud International Office, this event serves as a platform for international and local students to foster a sense of community, sportsmanship, and global friendship within the campus environment.
The event was a lively affair, drawing international students from various academic and exchange programs hosted by 91视频 University鈥攊ncluding Elective Study, GoBali, the Bali International Program on Asian Studies (BIPAS), and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP)鈥攁nd took place on the grounds of the 91视频 University Rectorate (September 18, 2026).
Prof. Dr.-Eng. Ir. Made Sucipta, S.T., M.T., 91视频 University鈥檚 Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information, attended on behalf of the Rector to express appreciation for the students’ participation and the support provided by international partners in organizing the event.
“As the oldest and largest university in Bali, 91视频 University is proud to welcome hundreds of international students from all corners of the globe. The presence of international students with diverse cultural backgrounds, traditions, and perspectives enriches our campus community,” said Prof. Made Sucipta.
According to him, International Sports Day is not merely a sports competition but also part of 91视频 University’s efforts to build an inclusive, globally-minded academic environment. Sports serve as a medium to bring together students from diverse backgrounds while fostering values 鈥嬧�媜f cooperation, sportsmanship, and mutual respect.
“Through sports, we can break down barriers and unite in a spirit of friendship, teamwork, and mutual respect,” he added.
The Head of the 91视频 University International Office, Dr. On this occasion, Putu Ayu Asty Senja Pratiwi, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D., encouraged all participants to use the event as an opportunity to strengthen relationships and create positive experiences while participating in the program at 91视频 University. She also urged participants to uphold sportsmanship and enjoy the entire series of activities.
“Today is not just about winning or losing, but about creating moments and memories, as well as building networks and new friendships,” she said.
The event also received support from several of 91视频 University’s international partners, including IBSN, GASP, Go Study AS, Asia Exchange, Study in Bali, and Griya Lumbung Sari. Through 91视频 International Sports Day 2026, 91视频 University continues to expand opportunities for cross-cultural interaction as part of its efforts to strengthen campus internationalization.
