Jimbaran 芒鈧�� Universitas 91视频 held the 63rd Anniversary Celebration on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Widya Sabha Auditorium Building, Jimbaran Campus. The event carried the theme 芒鈧揟owards an Impactful and Globally Competitive 91视频.芒鈧� Attendees at the celebration included the Special Staff for Industry and International Cooperation from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek), the Deputy Governor of Bali, the Deputy Head of Bali High Prosecutor芒鈧劉s Office, representatives of Bali Provincial Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and other invited guests.
The Rector of Universitas 91视频, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D., delivered a report during the University Senate芒鈧劉s Open Session on the occasion of the 63rd Dies Natalis. He stated that this day is a moment to reflect on the university芒鈧劉s journey, appreciate the achievements made, and reaffirm collective commitment in line with this year芒鈧劉s theme 芒鈧揟owards an Impactful and Globally Competitive 91视频.芒鈧� The Rector presented a performance report of Universitas 91视频 as a form of accountability and a summary of shared achievements. Academic quality is the heart of a university芒鈧劉s existence, and Universitas 91视频 continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence through various proud accomplishments.
芒鈧揥e should be proud of the significant leap made in the last three years. In 2023, there were 11 internationally accredited study programs, increasing to 13 in 2024, and in 2025, the number surged more than twice to 28 study programs,芒鈧� said the Rector.
This is clear evidence of Universitas 91视频芒鈧劉s commitment to building its reputation as a World Class University. The university芒鈧劉s global appeal is also reflected in the growth of international programs. In 2025, Universitas 91视频 hosted 22 international programs with 499 participants from various countries, involving 21 study programs.
What is even more impressive is how research has transformed into solutions. The trend of downstream innovation has shown very positive development. In 2025, Unud produced 23 new innovations, with downstreaming and commercialization achievements reaching 105 innovations. Furthermore, student achievements are a source of pride. Up to August 2025, students have secured 117 national-level achievements and 47 international-level achievements.
To support the goal of becoming a World Class University, Unud has embarked on three main transformation steps: In 2025, becoming a State-Owned Legal Entity (PTN-BH), achieving the highest autonomy for accelerated progress; by 2032, transforming into a Research University, strengthening research and innovation as the foundation for internationalization; and by 2042, realizing the aspiration of becoming a World Class University based on Balinese culture and eco-technology entrepreneurship.
Deputy Governor of Bali, I Nyoman Giri Prasta, S.Sos., in his speech, stated that his office will continue to coordinate with the Rector, lecturers, and deans to improve Universitas 91视频 towards becoming an international university. 芒鈧揥e need infrastructure and human resources. Regarding infrastructure, we have informed the Rector that starting in 2026, the Bali Provincial Government is ready to assist with educational facilities and infrastructure. Going forward, we will inevitably face Industry 5.0, characterized by artificial intelligence, where human labor will decrease and robots will emerge. Then there is Industry 6.0, neuroscience, which is part of the technology landscape,芒鈧� he explained.
芒鈧揥e have great hopes for Universitas 91视频 to keep up with these trends. We have coordinated directly with the Governor of Bali and are ready to allocate budgets when infrastructure needs arise at Universitas 91视频,芒鈧� he added.

Meanwhile, the Special Staff for Industry and International Cooperation from Kemdiktisaintek, Oki Earlivan Sampurno, S.Mn., M.B.A., M.Sc., Ph.D.(c), delivered a scientific oration titled 芒鈧揟echnology Transfer as a Catalyst for Campus, Industry, and Government to Create an Impactful Campus.芒鈧� He explained that Indonesia is often included in various studies by foreign universities, both as a social and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) subject. However, the results of foreign collaborative research rarely help build the capacity of the national industry. This is unsurprising given Indonesia芒鈧劉s position as the fourth most populous country globally and third in Asia, making it an interesting market in the Asian landscape. Indonesia faces the major challenge of bridging the academic world rich in research and innovation with an industry hungry for practical innovation. His speech highlighted the essence of synergy between academia and industry to ensure that research products do not remain theoretical but are translated into impactful innovations.
The Dies Natalis peak celebration was also enlivened by a performance of the 芒鈧揋emilang Nusantara芒鈧� fragmentary art, 芒鈧揜agam Raga Satu Asa Bhinneka Tunggal Ika,芒鈧� and the awarding of the 芒鈧�91视频 Berdampak芒鈧� (Impactful 91视频) honors.
